Switches on the genes
Epigenetics as a specialist area of biology deals with the question of which factors such as environmental toxins etc. influence the activity of a gene and subsequently the development of each
cell.
Randy Jirtle, a biologist at Duke University in Durham, USA, demonstrated epigenetically in experiments on genetically identical mice what effects special vitamins and nutritional supplements
have on genes. Mice supplied with vitamins, minerals and trace elements during pregnancy gave birth to lean, healthy and brown offspring. If these additives were missing, the offspring became
fat, susceptible to illness and yellow.
Epigenetics also unequivocally demonstrates that all environmental toxins can switch crucial genes on or off, if necessary. This changes our control system decisively and causes errors in the
constantly running gene reading. In addition, environmental toxins block crucial enzymes that are essential for our metabolism.
In this profound way, environmental toxins lead to hidden inflammations, so-called "silent inflammations", as well as to obvious chronic inflammations. They have an impact on our metabolism,
autoimmune diseases can arise, and disturbed cell health can lead to chronic diseases and even tumor diseases.
We can see from this that environmental toxins have a significant influence on an emerging or already chronic course of the disease and must be taken into account accordingly in the therapy. This
is one of the main activities in the INUS MEDICAL CENTER.
